Sensory Learning

“Research is seeing what everybody else has seen and thinking what nobody else has thought.”

- Albert Szent-Györgyi

The approach towards sensory experiences is something we have in us but we tend to ignore these abilities that connects us with our surroundings. Research shows that if children are in the right mindset and they grasp the sensory needs, they will develop a much faster learning process. Walking paths for example give balance and coordination to the body. We become aware of our potentials through our actions and reactions

towards other people or our own experiences.

A sensory room is an innovative space that many schools are now encouraging. Children at a very young age are being taught how to control their emotions for better concentration in their daily activities. Calming their bodies brings out all their emotions and stabilises them bringing happiness and enjoyment in what they do. There is a saying that goes: ‘Do not handicap your children by making their lives easier’. The experiences they get on their own will make them independent in society.
